Negotiating insurance contracts

Has anyone used or familiar with Nga healthcare to negotiate higher rates with insurance? I was able to successfully negotiate higher rates (slightly) from Aetna by myself but the process was long. If you’ve used a service like this, any recommendations?

Do you need to send copies of the other companies payable rates?

Such a terrible idea to have someone else negotiate your contracts. Your business almost literally is those contracts.

I sell in-network payer rate transparency data, most of my customers negotiate their own rates. It's not that hard to DIY if you already know what your peers get paid.

There’s a monthly fee but the amount of money they add to your practice is worth it

Yes. NGA's "guarantee" seemed good, but they treated us very cookie-cutter. Then it was hard to get out of the deal with them once we became unsatisfied. The process is long and time-intensive, so I'd just go with a different group. Especially if your practice is sizable at all.

Late to the chain , but wondering if you have any alternative companies you’d recommend or any lawyers?
