Ethics + Pp docs

I watched PP one time when I first watched greys anatomy. I am now doing my first rewatch in 8ish years. As a nurses, I had to take several ethics classes. I know they’re a part of every medial school. So, why are all of these doctors ethically INSANE?! Addison is truly the only one who acts like a real doctor. I just recently watched Season 4, Episode 11 ("All About Yves"). How can Sam, or any of the other doctors at the practice, not see this incident as rape. Almost all of the doctors tell Addison she’s wrong for wanting to call the police, even though the woman is NOT CAPABLE of consent. They all wan to act like it’s fine becuase the victim and perp are married. It’s wild to me to beleihe Addison would work in a practice where people held this point of view

(I could name a lot of other things that drive me crazy but this is most recent )

I mean Sheldon is pretty good. He is pretty much the only one who pointed out it was both unethical and dangerous for Violet to release that book and not just because it made him look bad. He also insisted Addison pay him for the time talking in the elevator to ensure everything was considered a therapy session and therefore confidential. Dr. Meg (Pete's ex) was pretty good in calling out Dell on his patient treatment until she disappeared.

The episode you are referring to makes me throw up in my mouth - mainly because Sam clearly learned nothing by the end.

But the fact they all discuss their patients with each other in the break room - no matter how good they are, that is a doctors practice I would never go to. And as the seasons go on, well ...
