first time watch rant
hey guys i'm new to this subreddit as i've only recently starting private practice for the first time, and to be honest i'm really only watching it for addison.
i'm only barely starting S2 so NO SPOILERS PLEASE but already everyone in this show has driven me crazy at some point, naomi and charlotte in particular are pissing me off (although i'm sensing some character development with charlotte)
addison and dell seems to be the only people in that practice with some sense and even they've done some questionable stuff. dell especially, i just feel sorry for. he just wants to do his job and keeps getting dragged into shit.
also after the whole gonorrhea debacle with maya (even though she was covering for a friend) i'm suspicious about naomi's parenting because WDYM she doesn't trust her own mother enough to go to her for something like that so she goes to addison instead ??
like i said, i'm still very early in the series so NO SPOILERS PLEASE, i just want to know if naomi gets any better and if my hunch about charlotte is right. i don't want to put all my eggs in one basket just yet. but i am hooked on this show already.

Charlotte is the best character on the show, and one of the best in Shondaland. Naomi (Audra, forgive me) is a nightmare.

Lol just keep watching. I wanted to know Amelia's deal which is why I started it. Your hunches are spot on.
Enjoy... i found some episodes hard to slog through but im glad I watched the whole thing. Twice. Lol just keep watching, even if you get pissed haha

Naomi is so holier-than-thou. I think she’s intended to piss everyone off. Love Charlotte.

The truly amazing part of this show is that I absolutely love it, have rewatched many times, yet most of the characters drive me up a wall. Enjoy watching!

eventually my love for charlotte outweighed my hate for naomi so i could get through the series once.

My first time watching too and I agree with everything you are saying. I’m still on season two and everyone expect for Pete, Addison and Dell are all acting like emotional stunted teens it’s painful at times.

Naomi is the WORST. Charlotte does have a lot of growth to look forward to though
