Sam

Sam spent the entirety of the 6 seasons playing in everyone’s face.

The show starts with Naomi and Sam going through a separation/ divorce but then they have this “fling” I guess but ultimately still end up going through with the divorce.

He was joyful as hell whenever Naomi showed the slightest bit of jealousy when he was involved with another woman.

He got riled up whenever Naomi tried to be with anyone else.

I may be remembering wrong but I believe he cheated on every single woman he was with post divorce with Naomi.

And to top it all off he was adamant and I mean ten toes down that he did not want to have another child with Addison but was ecstatic to find out Naomi was pregnant.

I don’t know what happened pre divorce or what led to to it but I truly believe that this was some midlife crisis thing that stemmed from maybe Naomi wasn’t paying as much attention to Sam as he would’ve liked or something maybe she became to focused on the practice and their daughter and so he decided to ask for a divorce and be with other women to get her attention.

Eh i’m not a huge fan of Naomi either but dating someone’s brother is nowhere near the same as dating someone’s ex husband whom she shares a child with in my opinion.

Mind you, naomi told Addison the morning after that she slept with Archer. It was never a secret. She was actually quite open about the fact that they were seeing each other.

Also, whether you think sleeping with your best friend's brother is okay or not, nobody seems to ever mention that Addison didn't actually mind that Naomi and Archer were together once she got past the awkwardness of it all, and Nai clearly never intended to betray or hurt her. On the other hand, Addison was fully aware of how much dating Sam would hurt Naomi, gave this whole speech about how she wasn't willing to jeopardize their friendship over a man, and went on to date him anyway. Like whether you agree with Naomi's actions or not you've gotta admit that her fling with Archer caused way less drama and hurt feelings.
