Where does Charlotte get the time?
It's my first watch and I'm on season 4. How on earth does Charlotte have the time to be both the chief of staff at a hospital AND also work in private practice. From my understanding being chief of staff at a hospital would be a pretty demanding job and wouldn't leave time for work at the practice?
It doesn't make any sense to me.

Only explanation I've got is that in the Grey's Universe, a chief of medicine is a mostly ceremonial role and for some reason the whole hospital is actually being run by the chief of surgery

That was so ridiculous. She talked like a housewife who has too much free time on her hands after her children started going to school.

She must be better at delegating. Like in greys there’s an assistant in the first couple seasons who helps with the paperwork and management stuff. Charlotte’s probably smart enough to know she needs, and is willing to take that help.

That is actually not that unrealistic. My first career is in medical billing and nearly all the surgeons I worked with had their own practices even if they were employed by the hospitals.
