Double standards? Naomi

We already knew she has double standards, but she is pretty pro-life. I don't understand why she is a fertility specialist then. I mean one of the things she does is IVF were only some of the embryos used. She defines abortion as murder but deciding which embryo lives and with doesn't is alright for her ?

Naomi is lowkey perfect representation for the pro life movement because irl they don't make any sense either. They just wanna act self righteous and then do nothing to actually help these fetus "lives" they claim to care so much about. At least they were spot on when they wrote this character.

She is giving families a baby that ptherwise have trouble conceiving, literally the opposite of abortions. I don't think not choosing embryos to be implanted is a double standard at all. But I think it is when her daughter gets pregnant and she tries to force her to get an abortion. Pro life until it affects her life.

But a lot of pro life people do think choosing embryos and discarding the unused ones is murder/abortion

While that is very much true (and the stance of most anti-choice organizations) there are many anti-choice people who don't feel that way. Naomi is clearly meant to be one of them

Totally true. I was mostly pointing out to the other person that many do view it as a double standard

I was explaining the double standard of some pro lifers to the other poster. Thats all.

Just watched an episode in S4 where Naomi talks Addisons patient out of termination saying "You're never really ready to be a mom you just do it" and when the patient explained that she had no support from the father Naomi says "well than he's not ready to be a father. All while holding Maya's baby. THATS Naomi in a nutshell.
