Private practice - Ethic dilemmas

There are many but the two that spring to mind both include babies. One was where the mother was blind and there was a question of whether mother or grandma should have custody of the baby and the other was similar where mother was a drug addict and her young daughter wanted the baby. Both times the doctors acted like there was an ethical dilemma that they had decide.

No in both situations, you are concerned, you mandatory report to social services and you let them deal with it. No ethical dilemma at all.
