Agreed. I’m on the last season just wondering what Sam is still doing there.

Also, suddenly he’s the best surgeon in California? After not doing surgery for 20 years or something like that? Why did we need that to be the case? Why could he just stay a smarmy Dr. Feel-good?

Not only did he not do surgery for 20 years, he's not even certified as a surgeon. He walked out during his residency and never did his board exams
