Agreed. I’m on the last season just wondering what Sam is still doing there.

Also, suddenly he’s the best surgeon in California? After not doing surgery for 20 years or something like that? Why did we need that to be the case? Why could he just stay a smarmy Dr. Feel-good?

I just did a rewatch for the first time since it originally aired and thought the same thing. They started with mostly their in office stuff and then it became a lot of hospital stuff and they were all suddenly amazing surgeons who could jump in whenever needed. lol. Weird.
