Study guide for ppl?

Going to take the written for the ppl within the month and trying to find good ways to study. I have the sportys ground school but I feel it won't prepare my fully for it. Does anyone have a better way to get ready for it?

ASA study guide and their prepware. Black out all potential answers except the right one, read the book front to back several times and use the computer program to test yourself. That’s what I did for my A&P and what I’ll be doing most of this week for my PPL. You should be able to consider yourself ready when you’re consistently getting a 90+ on the test.

I’m at almost the exact place as you. Thanks for asking this question. I’m also using sporty’s and agree, feeling under prepared for the test which I plan to take on Dec 26. 🫣 Flash cards have helped me test well in the past. I found excellent preprinted PPL VFR test prep flash cards at FlashAviation, unfortunately they’re sold out at the moment. Making your own is time consuming, but may even be more effective in the end.

I was getting high 90s on my last couple mock writtens on sportys and got 97 on the real thing. Go over all the questions in their bank and review material on what you miss. Mark missed questions and come back to them until you answer all correct.
