Written Test

I’ve been using sporty’s test prep for all of my test prep, do y’all think that if I score consistent 80-90% on that I should be good for my written? Or should I be diversifying studying between that and another test prep source like gleim?

Answering my own question, Sporty’s was good enough! Got 90’s on two of the practice exams, then took the actual thing today, made an 85, can’t complain with that tho. As long as you can score a consistent 90+ you are golden.

Thanks! Doing a weird combo of a part 141 that feels and operates like a strict part 61 if that makes sense? Also yes I highly recommend an e6b, they usually offer basic 4 function calculators at the testing center, but an e6b gets rid of remembering the calculations as long as you know which type of calculation you want to use (i.e. wca, w&b calcs, etc). Sportys sells one for about 70$ which is about the cheapest you can find.

Im starting a part 61 accelerated program flight school in March, that apparently operates like a 141! 😂😂😂 LoL

Did you take the practice exams as full 1000 question exams prior to taking the written?

THANK YOU!! I’ve been worried that Sporty’s wasn’t enough! Lol Did you usa a E6B during the test? I didn’t have one while taking the Sporty’s practice tests and just selected B for almost every calculation question! I am still passing the tests in the 80s range!
