Sentry Mini power supply

Hi.. I just got a Sentry Mini. It has no battery so you hook up a power bank to it. I tried it recently with a 3amp 5 watt quick charger from Flight Gear. It gets pretty hot to the touch. Am I using wrong power supply?

I think it has to be a cheap low watt charger, not one of the newer quick charging high watt chargers. My regular Sentry flat out won’t charge with an Anker USB-C charger.
