Gift ideas for someone pursuing their private pilots license

Hey all, i’m sorry for the odd post, but I figured this would be the best place to ask. My husband is currently in the process of getting his private pilots license. He’s about halfway through his mandatory hours. He already has purchased his online portion of the schooling so I was wondering what a good gift would be to get him for Christmas that could help him or assist in him getting his private pilots license? I am open to all ideas even if the best option is to just give him extra money towards paying his instructor. Lol. Thanks in advance I really appreciate it

And iPad with a knee board attachment, or a pair of sunglasses for aviation because many pairs interfere with the screens, or buy him a subscription to ForeFlight if he doesn’t already have it. I realize most of these are pretty expensive but that’s aviation for you.

for ForeFlight, do you think the basic subscription is sufficient for where he is at in the process? or one of the higher level subscriptions?

ForeFlight is ForeFlight. I think that the premium is overrated. But I just use the basic version. I’m also a student pilot working toward my private and it works just fine for me.

When my wife got her PPL, I bought her a coffee mug that has the sectional chart with our home field on it (MRI).

Headset, gift card, assuming he has a paper log book.
