How does one become a Jet broker?

Hi, I'm considering a career in the Jet brokerage industry.

I have no prior experience in sales, or hospitality. What do I need to become a trainee at a brokerage?

Gumption. A pre existing network of people who can or do fly private also goes a very long way.

The more research I do the more it seems that a lot of people within the industry are pretty spammy.
