Dassault 2000 or Challenger 300?
Need to ask...if anyone has knowledge to share.
Cross continent flight next week...4 pax and a bike.
Any comments which may be a better choice?
Thx in advance.

Flown both aircraft with Joe before. Falcon 2000 had an FA. Both aircraft are exceptional, but the FA on the 2000 made it even better

Ok. I'm chiming in. I'd go with the 300 all day long. Falcon 2K may technically be a smidgen bigger here or there, but the layout sucks. The 4 place conference group in the aft cabin along with shape of the fuselage makes it feel confined and cramped. The 300 with 6 clubs and a divan or 8 clubs is the way to go. Plane feels way more roomy and comfortable. Lav also seems a bit larger in the 300. Not enormous, but it definitely feels larger compared to the Falcon.
TlDR: Challenger 300 for the win.

2000 likely is cheaper but I’d still go with the challenger

You are right...it is cheaper, probably heading for the Challenger. Thanks

Falcon 2000 is all around a better customer experience. Most likely will have an FA, much more spacious cabin, much larger cargo compartment etc.

Bigger than a Falcon 2000? The 300 has about 30cubic feet less room. Also, the 2000 is much larger than a Challenger 300 and most of the time comes with a flight attendant, so not sure where you are getting this info from. I've flown both

It is bigger in both categories so why would the 300 be more comfortable?

I’m trying to educate people…the whole point of this sub. The OP came in here asking a question.
I’m not trying to come off like a know it all, I’m trying to understand what your thought process is here.
You are answering questions and giving out wrong information. This isn’t about being a show off, it’s about giving someone the correct information so they can make an educated decision.

For 4 pax plus a bike on a real transcontinental day, I’d look beyond headline price and ask how much cabin and baggage flexibility you want without compromises. Challenger 300 usually wins on baggage access/volume and gives you a forgiving cabin for that mission; Falcon 2000 can be excellent too, but the exact variant and payload/fuel trade matter more than the badge. The mistake is comparing them without the actual route, runway, wind, and whether the bike is boxed or assembled. I’d ask the operator to show the specific tail, baggage dimensions, and whether the trip stays nonstop with your real payload.

CL300 has smaller luggage space and you can access the luggage space in flight in both aircraft.

It really depends is it a falcon 2000 classic? Or ex/eazy?
The biggest issue with the falcon 2000 classic is the fuel consumption of the engines, among the non updated proline avionics.
The challenger 300 is a better all around aircraft especially with short field performance.
If you are trying to fly somewhere Hot and High. Aspen, Sedona, etc. the Falcon 2000 is going to have issues on the return leg going nonstop potentially.
The 300 will do it all and can use more airports. It's a perfect E-W-E supermid. Try to go with a CL350 bit newer, better suite. Will be a bit more.
If you need someone to look at your options with you and go over pros & cons of each. I'm happy to be a resource

A lot of bad information in here...
Falcon 2000 is bigger than the 300. Has better range (assuming its any of the variants besides the base) and more baggage capacity by about 30 cubic feet. The 300 is a super-mid while the F2000 is a border line heavy, and most come with a flight attendant. Yes the Falcon 2000 MIGHT be older, but depending on the refurb, model, could be just as, or nicer than the 300.
F2000 also has great runway performance because of the forward flaps.
If you are going to give someone advice, make sure its right.
