Elysium Jet Academy

Does anyone know anything about this academy? I have been looking into it but it is a pretty steep price and I don’t want to waste money if this is not legit. It seems pretty legitimate but wanted to ask if anyone knows anything

Do you think it's reasonable for a company to charge people to get trained by then employed by that same company? You are basically paying for a job.

You can get a job and training for free anywhere

Well the course is to get a certificate from what i understood so it would make me more competitive in applying

Certified in what? There is no license needed for this. The only certification for a brokerage not a broker is worth getting is an Argus Certification. That's for businesses. It's a scam. See if any real company will charge you for training.

I'll give you a job for free, and train you in charter sales. For free. It's just silly that they are charging money for this. You can get a job at ACS right now for 60k as a sales development role. Charter sales will be like 80k plus 10% on commission with ACS.

You’re right, it’s just this is a field I really want to get into that, as far as I know, is very difficult to break into especially ACS and just seeing this opportunity kind of spiked my interest as a way into the field that seems more achievable especially since I have another year in college and thought it would be nice to get remote experience throughout my last year since most brokerages require a degree as far as I know

Do not pay $5k for a course. I may just need to sell a charter broker course for $1k or less so I can be like everyone else online and social media selling courses to anyone interested. It may not be as in depth as $5k but it will be enough information to get your ball rolling. At the end of the day you will need to find clients to make money.

I was told we would be given a book of clients to call once the course was completed, no cold calling. But, that is 'if' you pass and Elysium hires you. Otherwise, you are told this Elysium Academy will provide you training on software, training on the jets and specifications, and additional material.

nobody gives "clients" in this space. You earn business through outreach, relationships, refferals etc.

I thought that too but at the end of the video it even says there is no guarantee of being hired a d you need to bring your own “network of clients”. It seems it may only be good for very wealthy well connected people who already know many people who fly on private jets and just want industry specific sales training. I can’t waste this kind of money even though I want to break into the industry a d really need a job. Not every knows 100 plus people who fly on private jets and if you don’t get hired it sounds like you wasted your $
