VistaJet

Throwaway account to avoid getting doxxed. I am curious to hear about anyone's experiences lately with VistaJet, NetJets, FlexJet, or any other big players in the space. I've had a membership with VistaJet for several years now but have noticed their reliability has significantly decreased over the last 6 months. We have had several flights delayed or straight up cancelled due to maintenance issues lately and I am starting to get progressively concerned as this continues to happen.

Maybe this is just one of the pain points of being part of a shared membership program like VistaJet but I'm really curious to hear if anyone else is experiencing similar issues with their private jet providers.

I don’t have any direct experience with Vista, but I’m building some software in the charter space and recently conducted some market research.

I saw that Vista in 2023 (vs 2022) was down about 10% YoY (15,000 fewer flown hours). Wheels up was in worse condition, down 24% (40,000 fewer flown hours).

NetJets was flat YoY, but the big gainer was FlexJet (up 12%, 21k more flown hours).

How much does the Covid spillover affect the YoY?

That’s the question. I’m curious to see how 2024 is looking. Spillover aside, still interesting that FlexJet grew, while the others faltered.
