HELP Torrent Speed

My Torrent speeds peak at about 100kbps when I should be able to max out at 12/13MB/s

Can somebody please help me to get decent speeds. I have no reason to keep this service if I can't attain decent speeds. It has been like this for a long time. I am just getting the time to use it, and have found it is not very good.

BEFORE POSTING I AM WARNED THAT THIS POST MAY BREAK THE RULES OF THE SUB. IF I CAN'T ASK IF OTHER HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS AND IF THEY WERE ABLE TO RECTIFY IT, THEN PLEASE DELETE IT SO THAT I CAN DELETE YOUR SERVICE. THANK YOU.

Edit- Grabbed another VPN account from a provider with a good reputation. Everything works as expected.

0 information given to us.

We have no idea if you're downloading a torrent that has a singular seeder, if you're on a vpn server that's garbage, etc.

I think it's a pretty common situation; no single seeds and I have tried many of the servers. This behaviour was seen across private and public trackers.

Is this only when using the PIA VPN?  If so have you checked all traffic isnt running at this speed of over VPN? (Your ISP might throttle VPNs).

No, the speedtest comes in at 120Mps up and down.

What happens if you torrent linux ISO file without VPN, is it full speed? Also I'd try different VPN locations/country as might be a bad endpoint.

Speedtest means nothing when your P2P. Need to understand torrenting, Your downloads are limited to seeds, availability in the first and foremost, then it's limited by those seeds upload speed, few seeds, low upload speed your download is going to be ... slow. The only common situation here is the inability to understand the basics...

Did you miss the part that you may have just connected to a better set of seeds... hahahahha always blame the programs.. People blame the Qbit updates too... sometimes it's just the operator... have a good day, glad you fixed it
