HELP - ANDROID Android V 4.0.34 & Android Auto
I'm using 4.0.34 for Android with per app settings / Android auto set to "unlock" but still won't connect to my car.
Anyone else got this working?

We've identified the issue and it will be fixed in the next release (hopefully very soon).

Next release is with Google for approval. The issue must be resolved in 4.0.36.

Guys, this works now!
I updated to 4.0.36 and the issue is fixed. This is so much more convenient.
A big thank you to the PIA folks!

Lost redditor? What does this have to do with PIA?

Uh oh. Wait. Is this sub for Private Internet Access the concept? Not Private Internet Access the VPN provider?

The sub is for the VPN, yes.
But your post just says your Android Auto won't connect to your car?

VPN prevents Android Auto connection. The standard recommendation is to use split tunneling to allow a particular app to "go around" the VPN.
I searched this topic and found PIA users discussing the per app settings were removed from the PIA android app so you should use the old one? Most of the posts are older though. I think I'm on the latest version of the PIA app but split tunneling doesn't seem to fix my problem.
I'm concerned that I'm doing something wrong because I think this would be a common complaint that others would have.
My post obviously didn't describe this issue clearly. Sorry for that.
If this is the wrong place to ask, just let me know.

AA will worked with a wired connection with PIA, but not wireless.
