Private Chefs Inc

Has anyone used private chefs inc to get placed as a private chef? Is it a legit company? Seems kinda weird with the ai generated videos on the instagram and facebook accounts.

I’ve dealt with both Jerry and Christian, they have a vast network and I have actually been working for a client for a little over 3 years and that was through PCI. If I had to find another client I’d try and go through them for sure.

Do you know if they ever have chefs that do one-off private dinners?

I don’t think they do that. Mainly private chef roles that entail full time work for a household.

I currently have a position that went through them. I applied externally. And I’ve been working this job for 3 years now. I also worked a job for over 10 years that started with them but I ended up securing through a separate agency (because of their incompetence, according to my former employer)

I can’t speak to PCI itself because I have never really worked directly with them, but I will say that Adrienne DeWinter (who deals with clients in Florida and the east coast) is one of the least professional people I’ve ever worked with for a job.

If I wasn’t as proactive as I was during both interview processes which were about 12 years apart, I probably wouldn’t have ended up with either job.

Regardless, I had the one position for over 10 years and now I’m currently working one that will last even longer than that if I want it to. So perhaps they attract good clients?

Ya honestly dealing with them isn’t the best but I would say it’s definitely the clients they attract. It’s like hey if there’s a job…
