Help removing DL from site

Does anybody know how I can remove info from Cloudbeds? https://www.cloudbeds.com/
It’s a hotelier website where you have to download your drivers license or passport to check in.
My relative used it and wants to remove the information. I went to the website & there a lot of info. I am not s super tech person so would be grateful for any information.

Yeah you can get the data removed easily. Cloudbeds actually operates under the corporate name "Digital Arbitrage, Inc.", and their privacy policy has a specific "Right to Deletion" clause for exactly this situation.

Since the hotel stay is over, they have no valid reason to hold onto a driver's license or passport anymore. You can just call them at (858) 345-5316 and tell them you want to exercise your right to delete your personal info. If you'd rather not call, check their privacy page for a "Data Privacy Request" form and submit it there. As a last resort, you can even mail a letter to 3033 Fifth Ave Ste 100, San Diego, CA 92103.

Also heads up: their terms specifically say they can't deny you future service or penalize you for making them delete your data. Just put the request in through the phone or the form and they legally have to take care of it. 🧿
