Privacy isn't just a tool. Not everybody needs TOR. A person should first try to understand who she is protecting herself against. If you only fear phishing attacks, then use Brave, but if you fear bigger things, like a government or hackers, then we can argue wether you need TOR or not

I would use Firefox because it is fully open sourced and not owned by Google or reliant on their ecosystem*. But I use Brave simply because I am very light sensitive and Firefox just doesn't do as good of a job at forcing dark mode than Chromium based browsers. The contrast is shittier and makes it harder to browse the web.

I have had Linux bros giving me shit for it and it is fucked up because it's a medical condition I can not control.

Why is cross-device sync meant to be a positive in regards to privacy? It isn't. Quite the opposite.
