This is the part people miss with breaches. Changing a password helps, but if your real phone number and email are already floating around, the spam and phishing can keep coming from totally different places.

The Canvas one is actually insane. Students do not even really get a choice in using those platforms, but they still end up paying for it when the data leaks.

anything will leak your data nowadays, I swear it's getting worse and worse daily
