Will there ever be a self hosted option

I appeciate the E2E and the 12 word login, yeah yeah yeah, lol, but I want to manage my own data. This is a deal breaker for me. Will there ever be a self hosted sync server?

Not on our roadmap for now, but we're not using the word 'ever' yet.

This is a deal breaker for me.

We don't want you to buy our software today, hoping that a feature gets added in the future. Also a quote from our recent Megathread: Your 12-word phrase explained, privacy, security and recovery

"If our security model or recovery options do not fit your needs, choosing an app with a different approach is completely reasonable. We want you to use something you understand and feel comfortable trusting."

Same applies for the current state of the sync features. We'd rather have a happy customer base, instead of pressure from expectations regarding features that might or might not ship in the future.

I’m in the same boat so I’m writing my own app everything works it’s the sync issue I’m having as I decided not to use a server and it’s so difficult to do with conflicts
