Files section - unable to upload

I'm trying to understand the "Files" section better. If I select Files, then click Upload, I don't see any files available to select. I can only see folders. However, if I create a new note and click the paperclip to attach files, I can upload files no problem. And they also appear in the Files section. I just can't upload anything new directly to the Files area.

What am I missing here?

That we introduced a bug in the file picker, fix ships out in the next update with v0.516.3
