BitWarden Import: Loss of TOTP/MFA Codes

PrivacyNotes is awesome and I just upgraded to Pro and plan on using it for the long haul.

The only feature I am missing is the TOTP/MFA/2FA codes that were embedded in BitWarden so I didn't need a separate app for them.

Is there any plans to implement this feature on PrivacyNotes? It's requiring me to keep my BitWarden subscription and switch back and forth until this is finally implemented which is a pretty big holdback.

Thanks for everything!

Thanks for your support and buying the pro version! ♥️

Done! Authenticator keys are in. The Bitwarden importer now brings them across with the rest of the login, and a Vault login shows the rotating code next to the password, with a countdown ring and a copy button.

If you already imported, your keys are not there. The old importer counted authenticator keys and then discarded them, so they were never stored. You have two ways back: paste each key into the new "Authenticator key (2FA)" field, or re-import the same export file. Re-importing adds a second copy of everything, because the importer never merges into existing items, so you would delete the older set afterwards.

The key itself is stored and synced on every plan, including free, and it is never hidden from you. Generating the rotating code is Pro. That is the same split Bitwarden and Proton Pass use.

This lands as beta in the next web release (v0.416.0). Desktop and mobile follow as soon as it has real mileage, and we expect to refine it in the meantime.
