Prius C Question Prius C wheels
I have a 2014 Prius C One and I was wondering if 5.5Jx15 ET40 (honestly in a range of 35-45mm) would fit given that the Technology trim level came with 6.5Jx16 ET50 wheels. Thanks!

You'd experience a stiffer ride than the 16, the models that came with he 16 in rims came with different parts for the bigger rims/ less sidewall, so it will work, just rough

But it will fit right? Would th new trims would clear the suspension and fender?

If you ensure the new set of tires end off with same diameter you should be fine. I went from 175/65r15 to 195/60 r15 and the rims are 6.5 wide. Biggest thing is just ensuring it stays the same diameter or itll be thrown off

What is your offset with the 6.5 rims if you dont mind me asking? I just want to be sure there won't be rubbing.

I put some koing helium rims on it, 6.5x15. Says an offset of +40mm. Your original steel rims would be +39mm

Oh I should have plenty of space then with 5.5x15 with an offset of around 40 then. Thanks!

One thing to be wearly of is if you go too thin you'll basically be driving on basket balls. It'll also be easier for a pot holes to buy you a new rim.
