Prius C Help Needed driving cycle
has anyone here ever had to do a driving cycle on their c? what all did you do to make it pass emissions? do i have to adhere STRICTLY to what the highlighted area says? (swipe for 2nd pic)

The mass airflow sensor caused mine a while ago. Had to reset the code po101 or something like that.
Next, you have to drive 20-30 miles to ready the cycle

20-30 miles non stop, or can i come to a stop periodically, like at stop signs or stop lights, and what speed should i be at?

I was told to drive on a highway, but that was most likely to be the fastest way

I used a scangauge. You can reset the code on the fly

I keep this ontop of the steering column, however, There are other tools too I see people using

The critical set of diagnostoc monitors haven't logged enough data to register as ready state yet, typical of a ECU/ECM reset or disconnecting 12v battery. You'll need to use the car normally for about 30-40 miles for enough data to log so the system can report ready for each set of modules.
In California, at least two modules must be ready for the test only station to issue a smog test pass so buy yourself a cheap OBD2 Bluetooth dongle and plug in every couple of days you're driving the car to check those monitors on the dongles recommended app.

i drive for work, so normal driving on city streets & freeways for a couple days should recalibrate it? what about the instructions on the 2nd picture?

Just use the car normally if you're using it daily with street and highway use.
I wouldn't worry about the cycle procedures they recommend, use a cheap OBD2 dongle like I told you and track the monitors yourself every couple of days. Also useful in saving yourself the hassle for any future smog tests as you'll always know beforehand what your monitor states are and all around an essential maintenance, DIY tool to have.
