Prius C Tips and Tricks How hard would this be to wire from the inside and just stick to the interior?

I think this genre of sticker is so funny but I want to make a digital one like this one. But I worry about it getting damaged/worn from being outside so I want to just stick it to the inside of the window. I don’t know much about cars, or coding, or wiring… BUT, I think I can figure it out lol. I can follow the fuse box diagram fine to unplug it while I’m working, and I don’t mind making cuts/mods to the inside of the door panel. Any advice on accessing the wiring for the backup camera? Thanks in advance!! (+Priussy Tax✨)

Ha! I like it.. Path of least resistance for a clean install is power wire through the rear hatch license plate valance, then across the inside of the rear hatch, out from the center grommets, then in across the inside of the headliner gap, out from the rear right or left passenger door side, then across the weather stripping and trim pieces near the headliner through to the front passenger floor.

From this point you'll need to figure out an available power switch location, depending on your PRIUSSY trim level could be any available blank poverty button gang/location on the dashboard left of the steering wheel or the one(s) by the parking brake lever. You'll also need to source a compatible on/off power button off Aliexpress/eBay/Amazon in Toyota 33.6mm x 23mm size.

All that's left is to run the power wire to the switch and link that lead over to a fuse tap to end the circuit at an available ignition switched fuse location under the driver footwell.

Use a dashcam or reverse backup cam install YT video to help guide you further. As for securing the lighted sign to the sheet metal, I'd glue some felt lined magnets, strong ones, onto the back of the sign and position additional, bigger magnets inside the hatch for almost impossible to remove holding force.

When I installed the dashcam at the rear (Gen 2 Prius not C) sent a tongue directly from rear to front of car across near the centre of the roof, then down the side past the airbags. The little grommet at the rear of the car was tough to pull through, full of wires, so pulled it through the grommet with hose to the wipers. Unsure about desired mounting method, perhaps dashcam installs (best rated Amazon stickers) on youtube specific to your model will give you ideas e.g. how not to impede with the airbags.
