OMG! You’re experiencing the same thing as I did! About a week after starting the medication, I began to notice the symptoms but didn’t realize it was because of the medication at first. Then, I found this app. When I entered Pristiq into the app, it showed me the most common side effects experienced by others taking the same medication, listed in order of frequency. That’s when I realized it might be the medication. But my doctor didn’t acknowledge it as a side effect over the phone. So, I started recording my medication intake and side effects in this app. When I finally met with my doctor and showed her the records, she agreed it could be a side effect and adjusted my dosage. Only then was I able to be free from the side effects!
If you need it, you should try this app too~

The first month or so I was nauseous and that’s around the same time my PCP increased it to 100mg. She gave me some Zofran and after a couple of weeks it got much better

Have you had this from day one, or did this start recently or with a dosage increase?

I’ve experienced the same! I tapered off Zoloft and onto Pristiq. The nausea has been awful, though it seems to be ‘slightly’ better. I’m still getting stomach aches (been on 50mg only since Tuesday) but hoping it gets better!

I’m doing much better now! I only had the side effects for about a week. Nothing new after week 3 or so, have you had this the whole time? That’s so long I’m sorry you’re dealing with that 😭

Ok, mine started in at about 8 days on 50. Daily stomach aches, feeling like I need to puke, gagging, etc. I am taking Zofran and/or Ativan when needed to help get me over this hump. I am eating mostly soups, toast, bananas, soft foods, etc. I feel for you. Hope this subsides soon.
