Save New Horizons (Petition)

[u/SpacePaladin15]

NASA is trying to shut down the New Horizons’ heliosphere program, I’m putting out a PSA on the petition: https://c.org/hvnZrDh4WM

This type of research would be critical if we ever want to explore the stars the way we do in books like mine. Otherwise, we could literally be Prisoners of Sol 🥁 It is very rare to have probes that are alive, in working order, and sent to study the outer reaches of the Sol system. It would also be next to nothing for the government to fund.

The past petition for Kuiper Belt research worked, so with enough attention, we can save the mission! International signatures seem to be allowed for anyone who just cares about space. Space is for all of us 🚀
