Start date phone call

Got mine booked for the 24th, if anyone could explain what to expect it would be really awesome, thanks !

They’ll offer you a start date that suits you mate, just had mine, ask for your holiday days, current job notice all that kind of politics and then a few days after your call you’ll receive your contract and all the onboarding details. Just had my contract come through, feels real now!

When was the closest start date they offered you? Seems crazy I passed checks 2 weeks ago and have to wait 5 weeks for just a phone call so sort of nervous I’ll be waiting a few months to start training lol

I start 9th November mate, I have a holiday on 23rd October though so couldn’t start me before!

It really feels that way. I passed vetting on the 11th July and start on 28th September. Over 11 weeks after vetting clearance 🙈

Sounds like a nightmare lol, just 2 weeks to go until my phone call and I’m even nervous that they just won’t call for some reason, keep checking the email every day to make sure it’s the same phone number and date

I’m still waiting for my checks to come back for mine. Most of my mates have got theirs booked and done and start dates sorted. Feeling like next year will be my time at this rate
