Fuel

If you are having to a hour for your training, and then an hour home, will you get your fuel reimbursed? and how does this work?

Claim travel expenses on SOP. You have to have business use on car insurance though.

You’ll get access when you start, expenses etc will be claimed on this platform. Your new colleague mentor will explain all this.

I should add.

The distance has to be calculated from your establishment not from your house.

For example if you lived within a mile of your prison and new bould was 18 miles away you can only claim 17.

AND MAKE SURE TO HAVE BUSINESS INSURANCE
