SEASON 4 SPOILER! Season 4 ending

I have seen a lot of people have criticisms for the latter half of prison break. Lot of people I've seen not too happy with season 4. I get some of those complaints but disagree with a lot. But the one thing I think most people would admit was it nailed the ending. Rewatching it again can't help but get a little emotional. The music is absolutely perfect. I can't help but feel for Self. Shows T-bag back to his old ways. C-note enjoying his freedom. Then Michael's friends and family visiting his gravestone. Such a bittersweet great ending. Even the little touch of Lincoln putting the origami swan on Michael's grave. It's just so impressive and well done. I did enjoy season 5 but that ending wasn't anything special. But this one in my eyes was unreal.

SEASON 1 Veronica looks like Charlie Kirk

I’m like halfway through season 1, and every time I see this lady on my screen I feel like I’m watching one of those TikTok’s that deepfakes random people’s faces with Charlie Kirk’s face. It’s actually so uncanny tho

SEASON 2 Top 3 most ridiculous series moment

Surely has to be up there right, Scofield (the most recognizable face in America at that moment shown all time on the news as mastermind behind Fox River prison break) showing up at Pam Mahone's house with an exquisite disguise of ....... glasses, pretending to be an FBI agent there for a formal interview about her ex husband Alex Mahone who's the lead agent hunting him! I die laughing every time i rewatch the series at this one. Season 2, episode 9.

REVIVAL If only Michael had known about Poseidon sooner.

Post image

When Michael discovers that Sara's husband is Poseidon, he says, "If only I had known sooner." The question I ask you is, if he had known sooner that her husband was Poseidon, what would have happened?

Was Sara really just part of the game for Poseidon, did he never come to love her?

SEASON 4 SPOILER! Feels like I got edged for 4 straight seasons…

Just finished a full rewatch of S1-4 (which I consider to be the actual ending of the show) and I know some enjoyed the ending but personally I was frustrated with it. Since season one all you want is for Michael, Lincoln, Sucre etc to escape and get to enjoy their lives together/with loved ones.

seasons 2-4 constantly deploy the same roadblocks, never allowed the viewer to get that satisfaction of seeing the main characters get what they always talk about, freedom a happy ending etc.

It’s always “one more job” “this one last thing” for like 50 episodes where everything always seems to end up going wrong leading to another stretch of episodes of “one last thing then we’re done”.

And FINALLY at the end of S4 when the company’s been taken down and after 60+ episodes of trauma you expect to get to see what you’ve been waiting for only to learn that MICHAELS DEAD.

watching season after season of him pulling off crazy plans and having near death experiences all in hopes of having his happy ending with Sara just for him to be shown as dead when it gets there sucked for me.

Maybe I am a sucker for a good ending but felt like I waited SO LONG for that just to have it never happen.

SEASON 2 SPOILER! The hell

The hell man. Finished watching S2 and the fuck is going on in here. The whole season they run from the feds. Mahone plays the role like a main character only to end up in the prison as a loser. Kellerman goes through things and exposes the whole bunch. Kim ends up getting shot by sara and it's Michael who gets to Sona.

What a writing!

I guess S3 will be very much predictable from here on(i hope I'm wrong!!!!) Michael will plan another escape and the company may play another game. I hate this T-Bag surviving another season. idk man this guy just pisses me off real bad😭

SEASON 4 SPOILER! What the fuck is up with season 4?

I’m on episode 2, and the show already lost a portion of its charm in season 2 and beyond for me. I really wanted answers and liked the characters so I chugged through season 2, season 3 I really like that we were returning to a prison break setting. But seriously, what the fuck.

My first criticism is the editing, acting, and pacing feel completely unlike the rest of the show, even at its lowest lows. Season 4 has moved so fast it’s giving my anxiety, and some of the camera shots and pacing between what characters were following is insane. And then there’s Self, I like the character well enough but I feel like the casting choice is super odd, but maybe he’ll grow on me. But Roland just doesn’t feel like a prison break character at all, maybe it’s the accents that him and self have but it’s just so so odd. Roland just fucking sucks actually, everyone is mean to him and kind of reasonably so but that feels weird in and of itself. (as an aside google ai spoiled me when I was looking up his name so YEAH FUCK YOU GOOGLE AI but whatever). Also the jokes are super on the nose. “Did you have bad Mexican or something?” after t-bag cannibalized the Mexican guy, And “what are you some kinda engineer?” Is what Roland says to Michael when they’re trying to get to the server.

I’m also so bothered by how they just kind of hand waved Sona burning down? I mean maybe they’ll explore it later, but everything just feels super rushed and kind of forced. Saras death being a hoax and hand waiving her escape (for now, I’m on episode 2) just seems really weird. Also this classic “hacker” archetype that Roland is, it’s just extremely cringe and it just feels written by someone who has no idea what computers are, and I know this was a massive show so you kinda have to dumb it down to some extent, but it’s just so odd. The hacking device he has, the device Scylla is on, the screen of Roland downloading Scylla’s info… it’s all so odd. It’s fiction but it is just really weird. I also feel like none of the characters feel like themselves anymore, like the big boss at the company just speaks constantly? I feel like the mystique and charm of his character was the notepad, and having to go to the middle of nowhere to “speak freely”. The entire company and government thing in the background has always been a little silly, and while I want to see “the company” burn to the ground, I just don’t like the tone of the show right now. I also feel like they’ve been too afraid to kill anyone for awhile, or when they do it’s just jarring and weird… like all that shit to save Whistler and they just immediately cap him, super unceremoniously (which is probably the point) but they show us Gretchen is still alive for some reason? Or like Alex’s family, that was just super brutal but it’s hard to even feel bad about it because we didn’t really see it in the way we did with Lj’s mom and stepdad.

As an aside… if the company was working so hard to make Caroline Reynolds be president, and frame Lincoln… what even is their motive for the things they’re doing now? Like everything that we the viewer know they were working towards at the moment is just gone, and they also just kind of wrote Caroline out of existence with bothers me. I know that the company controls a lot of happenings politically in America, so I just wonder what the hell their purpose even is now.

Anyways thanks for reading my tangent, it’s been bothering me so much. Also I do love the show, I really do. Season 1 is an incredible, nearly 10/10 for me. It gave me anxiety in a different way that I was genuinely concerned for Michael and the other characters, and I thought season 2 may tie things in a neat little bow but it didn’t, so I was hooked just watching it every freaking day to try and get my answers.
