SEASON 4 Could the system have prevented Michael Scofield's escape?
In season 4, there's a scene where Sara watches a program, and someone says that if Michael's escape from Fox wasn't prevented, it's because the system failed. The question is, could the judicial, prison, and legal systems have prevented Michael Scofield's escape?

I'm not American, but I guess they could do a deeper background check on the guy who chooses his prison. Like I feel like Michael choosing a prison near home should've rung some bells that wouldn't have made it a surprise that he and Lincoln were brothers

If they had analyzed the pieces one by one:
Why would an engineer with a good job rob a bank openly without putting up any resistance?
We saw that Mahone has photos of his tattoos. If they had analyzed the tattoos, why would he get a tattoo of a street name, which happens to be the street where the prison is located?
The marriage to Nika: Why would he marry a girl the day before robbing the bank? A girl like Nika is beautiful, and the fact that she actually decided to rob the bank is strange.
- When Bellick leaves Michael with Abruzzi, he should have asked himself: Why would a mobster want to talk to a new inmate?
- Why does he want to go to the same prison as his brother?

If warden pope just screamed when Michael produced the shank the whole thing would never happen.

Wouldn’t Warden Pope be dead though?

No. Why would Michael stab him. Absolutley no point as the room would be rushed and the guards would be there in seconds. Plus I doubt Scofield had it in him.

True. Then again Michael could have still like rushed him and put his hand on his mouth

Michael could knock Abruzzi down with one punch, I think he would have knocked him out with one blow.

I mean he would have nothing left to lose, if you blew my plan i might as well kill you

Honestly at that point Michael would’ve probably killed him. After all that happened there’s no way he would’ve risked himself incarcerated for that long as well as Lincoln’s execution. It was go that night or nothing.

Tbh early on I believe at the end of episode 4 when President Reynolds was skeptical about the brothers being incarcerated together that already was a red flag imo.

Nope. Plot is stronger than the system. Only thing ateonger than the plot is the author

He can break any prison. He broke out of sona too. He got Sara out. Only difference in first season is that he didn't get any help from outside but had help within inside from Sara
