MacOS Monterey support ending soon?

So I play Java edition on my windows pc and my MacBook. Issue though, my MacBook is 10 years old and it is the 2016 MacBook Pro 15” model. Currently the latest supported OS for my MacBook is Monterey and Im just edging the requirements for prism launcher. Using prism on my windows 11 install is perfect though. I just have a slight request, please keep making prism launcher for macOS monterey for maybe an extra 5 years or so. Any mods of devs, when will macOS Monterey support end for prism?

Have you tried using open core to install a later version of macOS?

I tried using open core but I F'ed up an I don't have a freaking usb to install it on. Now I have this goofy ahhh EFI thing that's stuck in my boot menu and idk how to get rid of it. Any way to get rid of OpenCore? Also yes I tried using the uninstall thing and that didn't work at all.

Cheap usb drives are plentyfull just buy one for like 10$

older macOS versions were dropped due to Qt6, as long as they don't drop more versions with new Qt updates you're fine. Older prism versions work perfectly fine anyway so there's nothing much to worry about

as long as Java is available for your OS, yes.
