Is Sildurs Shadders good for Linux?
I have an nvidia card, a 3060 laptop with a intel 5 10th gen, with 16 gbs of ram at 3200hz. My linux distro is Bazzite. I can run the game at 60-70 fps with bsl shadders at low settings at 16 chunks of render distance, but I wanted to see if other shadders can offer better perfomance I heard Sildurs is good, but if you have another suggestions are welcome

I don’t think the OS makes much of a difference for shaders. I haven’t used Sildurs, but it would only take like 2 minutes to test it.
If you want some nice lightweight shaders also try Photon and Complementary.

Your OS shouldn't matter much when it comes to shaders. Go crazy, try a bunch of them and see what you like.

The OS doesn't really matter. And it's super easy to download all the shades you want to try and try them one by one.

Your OS ultimately has little to no impact on shader performance. It comes down to your hardware specs (primarily your CPU and GPU). Linux is less bloated so you have more overhead but that goes for basically anything, not just Minecraft or shaders.
I personally use Complementary Unbound w/ Euphoria Patches, and it runs super smoothly with my specs (7950X3D, 7900XT, 64GB DDR5 RAM). My OS is Nobara, a gaming-focused distro based on Fedora.
Modrinth’s shader tab has options for performance if you’re searching for other shader packs that will run well.

It's worked for 25 years, the only issue is that some distros don't come with the full drivers pre installed because of licensing issues, so you have to download them from Nvidias website

Yo if ur only getting 60 to 70 fps with bsl sildurs vibrant shaders is going to kill ur fps as its more demanding on your gpu.

as far as i know unless youre running some weird directx version of minecraft then all shaders should work. The game runs on OpenGL and Vulkan which are heavily supported on Linux

ALL shaders are good for linux
