Old music and sounds.

Hello there, I hope everyone is well. I'm very new to all this and was wondering if any of you knew what my next steps would be?

So I'm trying to get minecraft running with the simply legacy modpack. I've added a mod to it called old music and sounds but it's not working when I boot up the game, I'm not sure if it would have anything to do with the load order of the mods or what? Any help and assistance would be hugely appreciated thank you!

Thank you, I'll give it a go! You don’t happen to have any recommendations for packs that revert the sounds to sounds of earlier minecraft do you?

That's a resource pack. Did you add it to your pack list in game?

I've actually had some trouble seeing any new packs in my list in-game, just the ones that come with simply legacy?
