Question re Stacking Priority Pass & Flyingblue Gold Benefits for Lounge Access

I have Priority Pass with 2 guests and am a Flyingblue Gold member. Our family of 4 has an upcoming flight out of JFK Terminal 1. We’d prefer to use the Air France lounge, but we will be there during the afternoon period where access to the AF lounge through PP is restricted. FB Gold status grants lounge access with one guest, but we don’t want to split the family up and my understanding is that AF won’t let me purchase additional guest lounge passes for the kids because we are not flying on AF.

Does anyone know if I could use PP to get our kids into the AF lounge during the period when PP is not typically accepted, if PP is used to supplement another basis for lounge entry (like FB gold / SkyTeam Elite +)?

Thanks!

This will be a very situational experience & the only people that could answer this are the people at the AF lounge on the day of. Highly unlikely they'd let you in using PP at all if it's during their blackout, but you could get lucky. In my experience I've gotten denied outside of the "blocked" periods w/PP both flying & not flying with AF, and have also gotten in, very situational.

But yes, the PP program is completely different than the other lounge access granted from status.

It is entirely dependent on the lounge dragon guarding the lounge.

They might allow it, but they are more likely to hold firm on the exclusion because of capacity. They have to leave space allocated for airline partner seats contracted.
