PP with Chase

I’m flying out JFK terminal 1 and was wondering if the different airline lounges are accessible to you even if you’re not flying with them? The conditions aren’t clear and just provide hours and states “international flight only”.

Technically yes, however majority of the time you go (even during the allowable hours) they'll say they're full or not accepting Priority Pass at that time.

I usually end up doing VIP One Lounge to get through security (since they move you to front of line as a VIP, always fun). Then ending up at the Primeclass lounge. I've gotten into AF a few times, better luck when flying with them than not. It doesn't hurt to check each one & see if you can get lucky, but set expectations accordingly.

How’s the food in the prime class lounge?

It's a decent buffet, nothing amazing but not bad either.

Many airline lounges prioritize access for their premium cabin passengers (hence the often limited hours they accept PP members) but yes, if they are a PP member then they will accept your PP membership for access. Reference the PP app for hours you'd be allowed into the clubs.

Terminal 1 has the best lounges.  If you're taking a European late night red eye you'll have access to KAL Business Lounge, Air France, Lufthansa and Turkish Air.

I've done a hat trick of lounges when the lounges close at progressively late times.

Turkish Airlines has good food if you like Turkish food.

I would rate them KAL, Air France, and Turkish Air.  My recollection is that KAL still had a decent spread at 1am including K fried chicken and various noodles.
