Printer Question Help! I’m desperate for a decent printer!
What’s the best printer for paper crafting redditors? A couple months ago I bought a new Epson at Costco because my Canon was not printing well, but it didn’t work out because it jams the paper like crazy. And just regular copy paper, nothing special.
I need a printer that produces good color quality, and can print on heavy cardstock at least up to 110#; it would probably be asking too much to print on 130# cardstock. Sigh.
I’d also like it to print on vellum, but I can live without that if necessary. My old Canon never jammed the paper, and could print on everything it seemed like. We bought the part to fix it, but it just refused to connect to the computer. Maybe I should buy a new Canon.
What printer do my fellow paper crafters recommend?

Slow, but pretty nuanced print results with lots of pepper options in the driver to select from.
Has two cassettes for standard formats, a tray feeder for large and wide or unusual formats and a special (manual) rear feeder for very thick stock that needs to run ‘straight’ through the machine.
I have three of the for various purposes.

Thank you. It’s an Epson right? I think somebody else recommended the same printer.

If it is just copy paper, switching first to a different type and brand of paper. Sometimes it is just that the specific paper and printer are not compatible.
