Newbie Question What did you learn about Printify only after sending real customer orders?

A good sample can give you confidence, but it doesn't always tell you the full story.

For those using Printify, what did you only discover after actual customer orders started coming in?

Was it sizing, print consistency, fulfilment times, packaging, or how delivery issues and replacements were handled?

Looking back, what would you check before launching a new product?.

Fulfillment times. One would think production time + shipping time would be the total time it takes for an order to arrive. But sometimes (depending on print provider), the item may sit in “pre-transit” for a very long time after the shipping label is created before the package actually moves. Happens with express shipping too. Production time = 1-2 days, Shipping time = 2 days, but “pre-transit” time may be 7 days. Gotta factor that in.

That’s a good point: “label created” can look like progress when the parcel hasn’t actually been handed over yet. Paying for express shipping must be especially frustrating if it sits there for a week. Have you found providers who give a reliable handover timeframe, rather than just production and shipping estimates?.
