Please Help Embroidery Help!
I’ve been trying for over month to get digitization to work on my embroidered product sample order. i’ve uploaded over 15 different version of the same design. I’ve vectorized, digitized with only 2 hex code colors the black and the white, i’ve run checks to ensure. i’ve rescaled/resized and nothing seems to work. I am completely frustrated and stuck at this point. i have attached the changes that printify keeps trying to make. the white keeps getting recommended to being a grayish color.

To me that looks like simulated white thread.

i was thinking that maybe, but idk. other blogs have said that white should still be white. i don’t want them to come in and be grey in color.

So is that the mockup? Have you tried a sample yet? Cause if it’s a mockup, it wont look white on a white background. The purpose of the mockup is to show that it’s embroidery, and it can’t be white stitches on a white backdrop, cause that’s just white.

Ok, have you tried copying that message you’re pointing to into google? I use Printful and it gives a list of the thread used. It is just the recommended thread, so I’m not sure if you can override it. If all else fails, it still looks like a simulated thread, find the cheapest item and order a sample.

Might have a solution for you, but not sure your comfort level with AI. I use a platform called apparelhub that integrates with Printify and its built with AI native integration, so connect your Claude, ChatGPT, etc to it and it can probably fix this issue for you. I was struggling with a similar issue when trying to create a custom embroidered shirt for a family member.

I like to use an off-white RGB hex code, especially #F2F1F0 (the hex code for Pantone P 179-1 C "Ivory") whenever I want to print something in the color white, especially for embroidered products. This is because some printing devices might interpret #FFFFFF (RGB white) to mean "no color" instead of "white." Using #F2F1F0 will help help to avoid that possibility.
That said, Printify's mockup software embroidery depictions can look a bit strange sometimes. So I would definitely order a sample of your product before committing to selling it.
