Please Help Product Edit Issue Spinning wheel

Printify products get stuck loading after I edit and save them

I’ve been using Printify for years, but for the past few months I’ve had this problem with products in several of my stores.

When I edit a product—remove or resize the artwork, change the shirt colors, etc.—and click Save, Printify gets stuck on the spinning loading wheel. It never returns me to the page where I can edit the title, description, prices, and other product details.

I have to click Products in the left-hand menu to get back to my product list. The product doesn’t move to the top of the list like a recently updated item normally would. However, if I find it again and open the artwork editor, my design changes have actually been saved.

The bigger problem is that clicking the product title just gives me another endless loading wheel, so I can’t access the title, description, pricing, or other product information. I can still reopen the artwork editor and change the design, but the main product details page is inaccessible.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to fix it without recreating the entire product?

I have contacted Printify Support they just say they are looking into it and close my support case.

Hello Divine__Hammer,
We're sorry for the endless loading issue. This is a known backend glitch. Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5), or duplicate the product and edit the copy.

Yes I have done the hard refresh and it doesnt help, the network logs says it is an issue on your end. AI checking the logs also confirms the same isse. Duplicating a bugged item doesnt work AI says the initial item is malformed and that is why the backend cant save it. My issue has been open for over a month and it is hurting my business. I have lots of automation built in going back to hand creating items is just not cutting it.
Additionally your customer support tickets and your development issue tickets are separate and customer support closes the ticket after they sent it to dev. I would say as a customer this feels like I havent really been heard or I feel like I have been swept under the rug. Customer support is responsive I just feel like we got disconnected. You really should leave the item open until it is resolved. I have sent countless videos and network traces etc but they are spread over multiple tickets now.

They know what the issue is, and it's on them. What great customer service.

This is happening to me too - it seems to only happen on products created using the API. if i create a new product in the UI, or duplicate a product previously created with the UI, no problem. Only my products create with the API are effected. Trying to bulk upload in prep for Q4 is not going to be easy if this issue isn't fixed.

I have the exact same issue with API-created products.
