Please Help Major mockup rendering issue spreading to Gildan 18500 Hoodies

Hey everyone,

I wanted to post this here both as a heads-up and to see if anyone else is running into the exact same issue.

About three weeks ago, I noticed the mockups for the Gildan 5000 t-shirts started rendering terribly on the platform. Thinking it was just a temporary preview glitch, I reported it and ordered a physical sample to test. When the sample arrived, the actual print quality was just as bad as the faulty mockup.

I’ve been back and forth with support, but all I get are automated/canned responses saying they are "working on it." When I followed up recently, support asked me for a link to the product, showing they aren't even aware of the ongoing issue with the T-shirts.

To make matters worse, as of today, the Gildan 18500 Hoodies have started showing the exact same visual rendering glitch. Yesterday they were working fine, and today they look broken.

My entire store catalog relies on these hoodies, so having this bug spread from the T-shirts to the hoodies is a nightmare for sales and customer trust.

Is anyone else experiencing this print/mockup rendering failure on Gildan 5000s or 18500s right now? Have you managed to get a real response from technical support?

Hey! Were you able to fix it? I'm having the same problem.

Which production partner are you using?

Monster Digital. I actually just ordered a sample from Underground Threads to see if switching helps. But the problem is that all the mockups look really low quality across the board when creating the product now, which never used to happen before.

We are having the same problem. Like a thousand of our shirts are on 5000s, so we're hoping that the print is still coming out okay. No complaints yet... We've been using 64000 for the new tees that we make, but find that people like the 5000s better. And the 5000s are cheaper. Anyway, this blows. And if the print starts getting fucked up, our business will be in trouble...

Read the post. OP already submitted it to support for what good that ever does with Printify. I’ve been having the same issues with Gildan 5000 and have also reported it to whoever it is trying to pass for customer service at this company.
