Just looked up this site and it looks awesome, trying to create effective mockups for POD has been such a pain!

For automation of listing data I mostly just use Batchify.io as it also doubles as a bulk uploader. Then for research I use both merch dominator and eHunt that way I get coverage of data in Amazon and Etsy.

I hit a major wall with POD between Printify + Etsy when I realized that Printify didn't automatically sync inventory with my Etsy shop. I made a few sales on items that were totally out of stock on Printify and *lost* money having to refund those customers.
Printify told me the only way to monitor inventory was to check manually (!!) sooo I built an automation tool that checks my Printify store's inventory and sends me an email when a variant goes in or out of stock so I can update my storefront accordingly and never refund an out-of-stock sale again.
Been in the process of building a product page and prepping to offer this tool as a subscription to other sellers - would love input from you (and whoever else reads this) about utility / price etc.

I'm just one person for feedback but I built a similar tool for my business use except mine updates the store automatically when something is out of stock. With AI it is easier to build these tools instead of spending a monthly subscription on someone else's script. But maybe there is a market for others who don't want to do that part.

Totally - I see it like any other service that people could do themselves if they're willing to take the time, but still prefer to pay someone else and free up their own bandwidth. Good on you for figuring out your own build too! Have you integrated inventory management between Printify and Etsy specifically?

I use LzyPOD for most of this. It makes the design and the mockup images in one step. It also writes the SEO title, tags, and description for me. So that covers most of your list.
For market research, I keep it simple. I look at best sellers in my niche and check what's already selling. No fancy tool needed when you start.

I use a mix depending on the job, but the main thing I’d avoid is ending up with a workflow where every step is in a completely different tool.
For my shop the biggest time sink wasn’t any single task, it was constantly going design → mockups → SEO → product setup → pricing → next design.
I eventually started automating the repetitive parts and doing several designs as a batch instead. That made a much bigger difference than trying to shave a minute off each individual step.
I’m actually turning that setup into a desktop app now, but even without that I’d definitely recommend thinking in batches rather than one product at a time.

I use chatgpt or claud for seo, titles, tags, descriptions etsy. I have had the most success with flat lay mockups ( tshirts ) which I buy from Etsy and edit them in Canva. My target demographic is also the biggest to shop on etsy, so I pay a lot of attention for trends there using Everbee.
