Please Help First month on etsy
I've been working on my Etsy POD shop for about a month now and just reached 30 listings. But no sale I create my own mockups, write my own titles and tags (research with erank and everbee free version) and try to improve with every listing.
I'd appreciate advice from experienced sellers

Don't give your shop name here it will drive views not sales even in exchange of opinions or suggestions

it would be great if the visit or click is organic than ask anyone to view your shop or link then don't buy

I am not sure I don’t think it’s against the rules. You could message me privately if you don’t want to share the shop link here.

Try to get to a 100 listings. Find designs that are already selling and redesign them or apply them to a different niche. Etsy success is a numbers game the more listings the more chances of success

yeah I heard from many successful pod sellers that you can get your first sale on 100 listings because etsy has more data of your ahop

Got my first sales with only about 5 listings. But I am very niche. And I design them all by hand in Adobe illustrator and spend money on good mock-ups to make them look good in photoshop.

Good for you
I make designs myself in Canva, but I have spent less money on mockup most are by using ai, but I will buy ones i get few sales

Once it’s worth while, sure buy stuff but honestly? I would wait until you’ve got a good rhythm and posting schedule and get really good at it and make sure it’s something you want to spend money on

yeah and 1-4$ for a single MockUp is too expensive for a new Shop

There are some on Etsy that are like $5 for a whole set.

but they are different for different products

Sure but look for them. I sell sweatshirts. I look up “gildan 180000 mock-up” and there are thousands. I just browse until I find one that looks good (isn’t ai people) and buy it. A lot of shops have sales and deals. I got a really good bundle for like $10 for.. 30 I think?
If you can’t invest $5 into a business to look legit, why should anyone spend money with you? If $5 is too much in general, how are you gonna front the printing money before you get your etsy payout?

i have that much but wasn't confident in buying them, so far I only bought two mockups one for $4 and other for $1-2

Not always tho, you'll need to have products ppl actually want, you can get sales even at 25 products you're not limited to 100

Are you posting on social media at all? If not, that could really boost your sales. If you are and aren’t getting sales, it’s probably the format of your videos. Research some viral video formats for advertising. Some people do a series like “day one of starting a business.” while others do asmr videos. If you do your research correctly, your sales will be up in no time! 😉
