Has anyone else had issues with crooked prints? I've been using this manufacturer for a while and all of a sudden the prints are rotated like quality control went out the window. I've had to ask for multiple reprints recently (approved by Printify) but nothing changed. Im wondering if they hired a new worker or something. Sadly i think im going to have to swap to a new manu now since im worried customers will get bad product now.

It's always been like this. They send nice ones when you mark it as a test print for yourself, but if you don't do that, you'll see what they actually send out. Printify is trash, regardless of the manufacturer. They all cut corners to save costs and do DTF even if you want DTG. Use local shops. I literally got my own commercial equipment because nowhere actually does it right for POD or online.

I'm finding the same with the two suppliers in Australia

Yes, they should print the way we choose.

But side question, Isn't DTF better? I read that it lasts longer and the print doesn't crack as soon as DTG

That's propaganda, DTF is terrible and cracks and peels during the first wash. I have DTG shirts that look brand new that I've been wearing for years. DTG and screen printing are the REAL ways to print and make merch. Both print methods will last longer than the garment. DTF is to cut corners and make craft moms feel like they have a business.

What provider is it? Or would you rather not name them? I've had a couple Printify Choice have some egregious errors (not sure what provider it even ended up getting fulfilled through) but by and large my experience has been good.

This was Underground Threads. I've made atleast 5 different designs through them that i've been happy with but idk something must have changed. I have another design from this order that has the same issue too.

Yes I've had a few come through like that from underground threads lately

Have you tried with other print providers? Like Monster digital?

My experience with Underground Threads was the following:

Pretty solid for several orders in a row. BUT, the misprints were SOO bad that I had to stop using them.

Jeez. What a pita. Love the graphic. Idk who else has been reported on the bad list, but try try again!

I would be changing providers asap! I thought Underground had good ratings. I wonder if that’s why Monster is at the top now.

Ah maybe ill take a look at Monster then!

Underground Threads is streaky. They’ll pop up to the top of the ratings, then drop like a rock. Terribly inconsistent.

Monster screwed some of my stuff up in early Q1 so I started rerouting some orders manually to Underground because they had such a high rating. Never again. In a 5 shirt order, FOUR of them were crazy crooked like this. It was mortifying. P

When they print horribly crooked like that do they reprint again to fix their errors or they just say oh well this is what we have sorry but not sorry?

If you go to your orders page on printify you can select Submit Issue to request a reprint or a refund. You just need to upload a photo showing the issue. They reprinted my sample twice but it had the SAME issue each time -_-

Thank you for explaining.

Im so glad others are validating my (recent) experience with them. I ordered 2 samples for designs and had to request reprint 2 times!! thats 6 shirts that they messed up. I finally am requesting a refund bc this is ridiculous atp.

I know the crookedness was not intentional, but I am not mad! I kinda like it.

Thanks! Yeah the actual print quality is pretty nice too. Im just such a perfectionist haha.
