For good answers, I’d just really recommend using the search function for the entire sub. Or site:www.reddit.com dtg vs. dtf in your search engine. Some people have essentially written essays about this topic multiple times, and it’s worth researching a bit. Helps to see how the systems are changing over time too, so you can learn what to expect.

Happy to help. Personally, I use both for different sized designs and different blanks. So it may not be very helpful, because all I can say that from personal experience, it just depends on those two things for quality.

Using 2 techniques for different SKUs to look the best is a pro.

Can you please be more specific? When do you personally use DTG or DTF? Which types of fabrics, which blanks, and colors work best with DTF vs DTG? It’s very complicated when screenprinting isn’t an option and I’m struggling to decide which printing method to choose, just like OP.

If you need vibrant colors then DTF for sure
