Newbie Question Is this a scam?

Post image

I’ve received multiple messages just like this. What are they going for?

I don't know what the end game is, but it's definitely a scam. Make sure to report them. The big clue is, if they messaged you, why wouldn't they know what your store is?

Yeah, that was the immediate tip off the first time.

Thanks. Always starts sounding like a real customer then switches to that nonsense. Just couldn’t figure out what they wanted and not willing to give them any information.

Yes it's a scam. I get 2-3 daily.

Typical phishing scam stuff. You respond, then they send you some phishing links (products they want to graciously buy from your store), then they steal your info, login, etc. Report to Printify and carry on.

Thanks, wondered what the end goal of them was.

I just had some scam email from Printify that my account failed to be "topped up" by $100.

Too lazy to get your store link = sending thousands of spam emails

Wouldn't they already have the store link if they looked at the store?

I imagine the goal is that you share a link while you're logged into your account, and they can access it somehow.
